Group Underway?
Here are some pointers.......
- Set the date & time & location with several others
- Together decide on a program - this will be
important to refer to in your invitation to others so
folks know what to expect
- Plan to have some music and refreshments for your
gathering.
- Send out invitations and follow up with a phone
call.
- At the event have sign up sheets so interested
attendees can be connected

- Host a knowledgeable speaker & hold a question /
answer session
- Plan a swap party - recycling your things with each
other - and sharing transition ideas or solutions with
each swap
- Have a potluck theme party - make each dish
reflective of a transition town idea or solution
- Meet at a local restaurant that serves local food
and have a "power" breakfast, lunch or dinner
- Host a "face off " with expert or just interested
citizens
